چکیده
Abstract A coupled double distribution function lattice Boltzmann model with streaming-collision process is presented. In this model, continuity and momentum equations are recovered by a density energy equation total function, the specific-heat ratio Prandtl number flexible. At same time, used as update rule. Couette flow simulated numerical test. The results agreed relatively excellent analytical solutions.

Coupled double-distribution-function lattice Boltzmann method for the compressible Navier-Stokes equations.
A coupled double-distribution-function lattice Boltzmann method is developed for the compressible Navier-Stokes equations. Different from existing thermal lattice Boltzmann methods, this method can recover the compressible Navier-Stokes equations with a flexible specific-heat ratio and Prandtl number. In the method, a density distribution function based on a multispeed lattice is used to recove...
متن کاملLattice Boltzmann method with regularized pre-collision distribution functions
An extended numerical scheme for the simulation of fluid flows by means of a lattice Boltzmann (LB) method is introduced. It is conceptually related to the lattice BGK scheme, which it enhances by a regularization step. The result is a numerical scheme that is both more accurate and more stable in the hydrodynamic regime.
متن کاملA lattice Boltzmann model for coupled diffusion
Diffusion coupling between different chemical components can have significant effects on the distribution of chemical species and can affect the physico-chemical properties of their supporting medium. The coupling can arise from local electric charge conservation for ions or from bound components forming compounds. We present a new lattice Boltzmann model to account for the diffusive coupling b...

متن کاملLattice Boltzmann Modeling of Injection Moulding Process
Polymer injection in moulds with complicated shapes is common in todays industrial problems. A challenge is to optimize the mould design which leads to the most homogeneous filling. Current commercial softwares are able to simulate the process only partially. This paper proposes a preliminary study of the capability of a two-fluid LatticeBoltzmann model to provide a simple and flexible approach...
